Hopkinsville museum sets Downtown Tipsy Tour

The walking tour for adults will be May 25.

The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County has announced plans for one of its more popular events for adults, the Downtown Tipsy Tour, at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 25.

The two-hour tour covers about 1.5 miles with stops at three downtown establishments for a drink “as we stroll and drink our way through some of the seedy and scandalous moments of the past,” the museum staff said in a press release.

The tour will start at the Pennyroyal Area Museum, 217 E. Ninth St., and end at Hopkinsville Brewing Co., 102 E. Fifth St.

Tickets are $30 per person, and the price includes an alcoholic beverage at each of the three stops. Guests must be at least 21 years old.

The tickets are available at the Pennyroyal Area Museum, or online through Shopify.
