The Hopkinsville Art Guild is offering several classes in the coming months, and the fee for most sessions is $35 for non-members. All of the classes last four hours.
The following classes are slated:
- Beginning painting with Jeannie White — 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19
- Creating dramatic portraits with Tommy Fletcher — 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21
- Drawing with colored pencils with Betty Liles — 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13
- Jewelry making with Sarah Brechwald — 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10
- Pastels with Jeannie White — 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9
There is also a free watercolor workshop to learn about using negative painting techniques. Leah Foote will lead the class. It begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23.
