Two English professors from Hopkinsville Community College will lead a “fun writing workshop” for anyone looking for ways to add some creative flair to their Christmas letters.
The class is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, 1101 Bethel St. It’s free, and registration is not required.
“If you love sending annual holiday cards and letters to friends and family but are tired of the same old format, be the talk of the town this year by learning some tips for writing creative holiday letters in this fun writing workshop led by HCC English professors Elizabeth Burton and Addison James,” DeeAnna Sova, the library’s executive director, said in a press release.
Participants are encouraged to bring a list of what they’d like to include in a holiday message. The library will provide holiday stationery to help the group get started.
