History on Tap will wrap up 2023 with a look at three years in local history

Historian William T. Turner will join museum staff members for a look at 1823, 1923 and 2023.

Local museum staff members and Christian County’s historian will lead the last History on Tap program of the year with a look at three dates in local history — 1823, 1923 and 2023.

The program will start at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28, at Hopkinsville Brewing Co. It’s a free program offered by the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County.

“Join museum staff Alissa Keller and Brett Pritchett and city-county historian William Turner as we look at Christian County in 1823, 1923, and 2023,” organizers said in a press release. “The three will cover highlights from Hopkinsville and how our community’s history fits into a larger narrative and collective experience.”
