Auditions will begin at 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, at Indian Hills Elementary School, 434 Koffman Drive. Students should arrive by 3:45 p.m. and will need to stay for two hours. Some cast members will be asked to remain for additional time for rehearsals immediately after auditions, organizers said in a press release from the arts council.

Students do not have to prepare for a role before auditions. In addition to the characters, assistant directors will be selected during rehearsals to handle essential backstage responsibilities.

Following auditions on Monday, the Missoula Children’s Theatre staff will conduct rehearsals from 4 to 8:30 p.m. each day through Friday, Jan. 31, at the Alhambra. The company provides all of the costumes, scenery and props.

“HERCULES” will be presented to the public at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Alhambra Theatre. Tickets will be $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
