Outgoing Hopkinsville Mayor Carter Hendricks is scheduled to present a “Plan of Action” on Monday, Jan. 27, to the South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council’s board members.
The presentation by Hendricks is on the board’s meeting agenda.
Hendricks is leaving the mayor’s office at the end of the month to become the executive director of the EDC.
In his new job, Hendricks will be the region’s chief industrial recruiter. The job also includes retaining current industry. The EDC serves Trigg, Christian and Todd counties.
The EDC board meeting begins at noon in the Pennyrile Electric Community Room on Harrison Street.
