Health department reports 5 newly confirmed coronavirus cases

As of Wednesday, the county's case total was 131 with 25 active cases, the health department reported.

Five new coronavirus cases were confirmed Wednesday in Christian County, according to the local health department.

That pushes the county’s case total to 131 with 25 active cases, 103 recovered and three deaths since the start of the virus outbreak.

By age group, the active cases are:

  • Pediatric (0-21): 4
  • Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 19
  • Older Adult (60-84): 2
  • Elderly (85+): 0
