Two newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday raised the county’s total to 107.
There were 15 active cases, according to a Christian County Health Department report.
The number of confirmed, active cases by age group are:
- Pediatric (0-21): 3
- Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 10
- Older Adult (60-84): 2
- Elderly (85+): 0
Statewide there were 141 new cases, bringing the total to 8,246.
Gov. Andy Beshear, in his daily briefing Friday, reported five deaths.
The people who died included: a 74-year-old man from Barren County; an 88-year-old woman from Hopkins County; an 88-year-old man and a 97-year-old woman from Jefferson County; and a 72-year-old man from Shelby County.
Since the start of the coronavirus outbreak, there have been 391 deaths in Kentucky.
