Christian County had one newly confirmed COVID-19 case Saturday, bringing the total to 95, according to the local health department’s update.
The number of recovered cases continued to outpace those still sick with the respiratory disease. As of Saturday, there were 17 active cases and 75 recovered cases.
The number of active cases by age group are:
- Pediatric (0-21): 2
- Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 7
- Older Adult (60-84): 8
- Elderly (85+): 0
Statewide, 168 newly confirmed cases were reported Saturday. That brings Kentucky’s total to 6,440.
Gov. Andy Beshear reported six deaths during his Saturday briefing. Since the start of the coronavirus outbreak, 304 people in Kentucky have died from COVID-19.
