Freeman Chapel CME Church, 137 S. Virginia St., will host the Evansville-Hopkinsville District’s community health awareness day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the church.
Freeman’s pastor, the Rev. Lisa Lewis Balboa, said the church is encouraging community members to attend.
Representatives of several organizations and programs will be highlighted. They include:
- Kentucky Cancer Program
- Pennyroyal Mental Health Center
- Todd County and Christian County health departments
- Live Well Home Health
Information will also be shared about skin care, radon awareness and vocational rehab.
