The Christian County Health Department has canceled drive-thru COVID-19 testing on Tuesday at Tie Breaker Park because of the forecast for inclement weather. There is a 50% chance of rain and thunderstorms in the morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Limited testing by appointment will be available from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the health department. Those needing a test should call the health department at 270-887-4160, ext. 162, to request an appointment, County Health Director Kayla Bebout said in a news release.
Weather permitting, testing will resume Wednesday at Tie Breaker Park. Regular hours are 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday.
There is no charge to be tested. Drivers should enter the test site through the Stadium of Champions parking lot off LaFayette Road.
