CSX work to close Seventh Street rail crossing

Motorists should watch for detour signs during the closure.

Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 28, and running through Monday, Dec. 4, CSX will close the East Seventh Street rail crossing to traffic in downtown Hopkinsville, Dave Herndon, assistant director of Hopkinsville Public Works, said in a press release. 

During the closure, CSX will be installing upgrades in crossing signals, the release states. Motorists should watch for detour signs downtown while the crossing is closed.
