Three newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 raised the county’s total to 110, the Christian County Health Department reported Saturday.
“We have had a total of 13 new cases this week. This is our highest week since (the) week ending April 18, 2020,” the department noted in a Facebook post.
The total includes 18 active cases, 89 recovered and three deaths.
The number of confirmed, active cases by age group are:
- Pediatric (0-21): 4
- Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 12
- Older Adult (60-84): 2
- Elderly (85+): 0
The state had 148 new cases, Gov. Andy Beshear announced Saturday. There were no deaths reported.
Since the start of the coronavirus outbreak, Kentucky has had 8,571 cases and 391 deaths.
At least 3,102 Kentuckians have recovered from the virus, Beshear said.
