Clerk’s office did fair, accurate work on nickel tax referendum

The entire staff of the Christian County Court Clerk’s Office are to be commended for the professionalism that was shown to all parties involved during this entire process.

Mark Graham, a member of Citizens Right to Vote on Tax Increases who helped lead the petition effort to require a recall vote on the nickel tax, submitted the following letter to the editor.

We wanted to take the time to say “Thank You” to the Christian County Court Clerk’s Office for the great job they did over the past nine months leading and guiding us all through the nickel tax referendum process. This was a historical event for Christian County as a tax referendum has never been completed in Christian County.

The entire staff of the Christian County Court Clerk’s Office are to be commended for the professionalism that was shown to all parties involved during this entire process. We are very impressed with the work and dedication that was completed and done to make sure everything was done correctly and without an ounce of favoritism to any side that was involved in this entire process.

The citizens of Christian County should be very confident and feel proud knowing the work that is done in this office will be done accurately and fairly for any issue that should arise.

Again, we appreciate a job “WELL DONE” by the Christian County Court Clerk’s Office.
