Christian County reports 16 new COVID-19 cases Friday, sees 38% increase over last 2 weeks

Christian County reported 16 new coronavirus cases Friday, bringing the county's total to 313. Of those cases, 106 are still active.

The Christian County Health Department reported 16 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the county’s total to 313. Of those cases, 106 are still active and 203 are recovered. There have been four deaths.

Christian County’s total case count has increased by 38% over the last two weeks, following a report of 226 total cases and 75 active cases on June 26.

The number of confirmed, active cases by age group are:

  • Pediatric (0-21): 20
  • Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 67
  • Older Adult (60-84): 17
  • Elderly (85+): 2
