Christian County’s coronavirus total increases to 286 with 19 newly confirmed cases Wednesday

The health department also reports 203 people who previously tested positive for COVID-19 are now listed as recovered.

The Christian County Health Department reported 19 newly confirmed coronavirus cases, raising the total to 286 since the start of the pandemic in mid-March.

As of Wednesday, there were 79 active cases, in addition to 203 people who previously tested positive for COVID-19 who are now listed as recovered. Also, four people here have died of COVID-19 complications. 

The health department’s daily report did not include any information that would explain if there are clusters involved in the 19 new cases.

The number of confirmed, active cases by age group are:

  • Youth (0-21): 15
  • Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 51
  • Older Adult (60-84): 11
  • Elderly (85+): 2
