Four more coronavirus cases were confirmed Saturday in Christian County, raising the total to 142, the local health department reported. The total includes 30 active cases, 109 recovered and three deaths.
The number of active cases by age group are:
- Pediatric (0-21): 4
- Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 23
- Older Adult (60-84): 3
- Elderly (85+): 0
In the week between May 31 and June 6, the number of Christian County’s COVID-19 cases increased by 23.
County Health Director Kayla Bebout said Saturday that the majority of the new cases in the past week had come from gatherings and congregate settings. She has declined to provide information about the locations and/or events linked to those cases.
