Christian County’s coronavirus total at 113 with 14 active cases

Kentucky had 113 newly confirmed cases and nine deaths Thursday.

One newly confirmed COVID-19 case was reported in Christian County, putting the total number of coronavirus cases here at 113, the health department reported.

As of Thursday, there were 14 active cases, 96 recovered and three deaths.

The number of confirmed, active cases by age group are:

  • Pediatric (0-21): 4
  • Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 9
  • Older Adult (60-84): 1
  • Elderly (85+): 0

By race, the local cases include 90 white, 22 black and one Asian. 

Kentucky had 113 new cases were confirmed Thursday, bringing the state’s total 9,184, Gov. Andy Beshear said during his daily briefing.

At least 3,181 people have recovered, according to the state’s records.

Nine new deaths were reported. They include: a woman, 74, a man, 80, and two men, both 85, from Boone County; a man, 71, from Grant County; a man, 66, from Jefferson County; a woman, 72, from Warren County; a woman, 67, from Butler County; and a man, 70, from Kenton County.
