The Christian County Chamber of Commerce has a new director of membership development.

Chandler Ladd, of Hopkinsville, will oversee development, planning and management of the chamber’s membership initiatives and will work on strategies to recruit new members, the chamber said Wednesday in a news release. Her responsibilities will also include helping existing members maximize the benefits of their membership.
“I am looking forward to serving our community in a new light as Christian County holds a special place in my heart,” Ladd said in a news release. “I feel fortunate to walk alongside the business community helping them grow and our community prosper.”
A graduate of Hopkinsville High School, Ladd earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Louisville. She is a 2019 graduate of Hopkinsville-Christian County Leadership.
In her last job, Ladd was the Design Center manager for Cayce Mill Supply Co. She previously worked for Gracious Me!
Ladd’s first day at the chamber will be Monday, Aug. 30.
