Change clocks and spring forward on Sunday

The second Sunday in March marks the start of daylight saving time.

Most Americans will push the clock forward one hour to start daylight saving time at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Since 2007, the United States has observed the second Sunday of March as the start of daylight saving time, also  known as the time we “spring forward.” The country reverts to standard time, or “falls back,” on the first Sunday in November.
