The Christian County Chamber of Commerce presented its annual Compass Awards in recognition of small businesses during a ceremony Tuesday night at The Silo Event Center.
The Horizon Award, for a new business, went to The Apron Wife, a gift shop that also provides floral arrangements and charcuterie. Owner Hailee Isom’s business shares space with Baked on Sixth Street downtown.

- Nonprofit — The Joy Closet, 814 Belmont St.
- Century — Higgins Insurance, 4057 LaFayette Road
- Health & Wellness — Kalleb Greene Family Dentistry, 318 Cool Water Court
- Agriculture — Luttrull Feeds, 127 Hobson St., Pembroke
- Food Service — Bar-B-Que Shack, 4687 Pembroke Road
- Friend of the Community — Gracious Me!, 4537 Fort Campbell Blvd., in honor of the late Sherry Calhoun, who founded the gift shop in 2005
- Residential — Legacy Metals, 3735 Prosperity Lane
- Retail — West and Witherspoon Florist, 2500 S. Virginia St.
- Specialized Service — Stella’s Soap, 200 E. Ninth St.
- Spirit of entrepreneurship — Cat Lacy Studio, 608 S. Main St.
- Sunset — Sisk Auto, now operated by White’s Auto Mall, 4599 Fort Campbell Blvd.
