Casey Jones Distillery will be featured in an episode of Circle TV’s “Authentic America” with a behind-the-scenes look at the Christian County craft distillery.
The episode will be televised at 9 p.m. April 27, with reruns scheduled at 9:30 p.m. May 1 and 3:30 p.m. May 2, according to a news release from the distillery.
“Authentic America” is based on husband-and-wife team Charlie and Nan Kelly’s motorcycle travels to lesser-known attractions and interesting sites that are off the beaten path. The show’s producers tout it as a “traveling talk show series that takes you into the heart of America and the lives of the people who live there.”
Being featured on a nationally televised program is good for the distillery and for local tourism, owners Arlon Casey Jones and his wife Peg Hays said.
This marks the third time Casey Jones Distillery has been in the national spotlight, they noted. The business had widespread publicity because of its proximity to the epicenter of the 2017 solar eclipse, and it has been highly visible in the past year as a distributor of hand sanitizer in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
