Campanile Productions has opened ticket sales for its next musical, “Come From Away,” slated Sept. 17-20 at the Alhambra Theatre.
The musical tells the true story of Gander, Newfoundland, on Sept. 11, 2001, when terror attacks forced the closure of U.S. airspace and diverted 7,000 airline passengers to Gander’s airport. The town of roughly 10,000 residents quickly assembled a plan to provide shelter and meals — often in private homes — for the next five days.
“Come From Away” celebrates the town’s response to Sept. 11 and reveals the many friendships formed during that remarkable period in the town’s history.

The Campanile cast members are Erin Namie, Chrissie Johnson, Dilyn Kim Ashman, Jessica Cannon, Ellen Schumann, Barbie Pitts, Stan Kubik, Thomas Lamirande, Javan Kaminski, Jeff Riggs, Turner Vaughn and Andy Pitts.
The musical will be performed at 7 p.m. on Sept. 17, 18 and 19, and at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 20.
Ticket prices range from approximately $17 to $28. They can be purchased online.
