Campanile sets auditions for fall production of ‘Young Frankenstein’

Auditions for cast members who are at least 16 years old will be July 22.

The community theater group Campanile will have auditions on July 22 for “Young Frankenstein,” a show they will stage this fall. The play is an adaptation of the 1974 comedy-horror film directed by Mel Brooks and starring Gene Wilder.

“This PG-13 show is fun and quirky and we are already hearing a buzz about town. We are limiting this cast to ages 16 and up,” organizers said in an email.

Auditions will be in the Campanile building behind Save-More Drugs on Fort Campbell Boulevard. The show dates are Oct. 19-22 at the Alhambra Theatre.

Anyone interested in auditioning should sign up on Campanile’s website. Additional information is available in an “Audition Packet” on the website.
