Twelve book authors will be present on Saturday, May 23, at The Book and Bottle Shop for readings, signings and a discussion.
The Local Author Round-Up begins at noon. Readings will start at 1 p.m. and a panel discussion will follow at 3 p.m.
“Each author will have their own space to display their work, where you can stop by and chat,” event organizers said in a Facebook post. “They’ll tell you about their book, and about the story behind the writing of it, and you can purchase a signed copy directly from them.”

The panel discussion will “explore what it takes to accomplish the dream that many of us have: putting pen to paper and writing something worth reading.”
The Book and Bottle Shop, 123 E. Ninth St., opened in November 2024.
