Steve Shaffer is a video production specialist at the University of Kentucky. Prior to joining UK, he worked as a photojournalist working in various newsrooms, shooting news and sports. He spent more than 17 years as a photographer and videographer at Kentucky Educational Television before joining UK.
He worked on several projects while at KET, including one project named “The Pigeon Photographer,” for which he won his first Emmy Award. His second Emmy, which was awarded just last year, was for a project named “Kentucky Seasons.”
