Patricia Kime

Patricia Kime is a freelance journalist who focuses on military personnel and veterans issues. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, USA Today, Kaiser Health News and elsewhere. She was named as one of the top 100 influencers in the veterans’ arena by HillVets in 2015 and earned first place for beat reporting from the Association of Health Care Journalists in 2019. Prior to becoming a journalist, she worked for the federal government in the intelligence community. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in international relations.
