Chris Lamb

Chris Lamb, Ph.D., is chairman of the Journalism and Public Relations Department at Indiana University- Indianapolis. He is the author and editor of 12 books, including “Stolen Dreams: The Cannon Street All-Stars” and “Little League Baseball’s Civil War” (University of Nebraska, April 2022).

Before becoming a college professor, he worked for newspapers and magazines for 10 years. Since becoming a professor, his articles and columns have appeared in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Sports Illustrated, Los Angeles Times, USA Today, ESPN.com, New Republic.com, The Undefeated, etc. His research articles have appeared in Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, Journal of American History, Journalism History, and other scholarly journals. He has twice been a Pulitzer Prize judge in the category of editorial cartooning.
