The Pennyroyal Arts Council today announced three workshops that celebrate home entertaining as a lead-up to releasing the cookbook “Let Us Entertain You.”

The workshops, led by local experts, will be in The Hall at the Alhambra Theatre downtown. Attendance will be limited to 30 people, and advance registration is required. Each workshop is $25, which includes supplies. Masks will be required.

The workshops are:

Fall Centerpieces, 5-7 p.m. Oct. 27, with Martha White of Free Range Flowers. Participants will learn how to create a one-of-a-kind arrangement using a white pumpkin and flowers while getting a taste of some star-quality appetizers coming from the Pennyroyal Arts Council’s cookbook

Holiday Tarts and Truffles, 5-7 p.m. Nov. 10, with chocolate expert Brooke Jung. This hands-on chocolate workshop with decadent tastings and wine pairings is the perfect experience for a girls night or date night.

Mastering Charcuterie, 5-7 p.m. Nov. 17, with Hailee Isom of The Apron Wife. Participants will learn how to master the art of arranging a winning charcuterie spread that will wow and awe holiday guests this season.

“Let Us Entertain You” is a collection of more than 600 recipes submitted by local residents. It will be released Nov. 23.
