Alhambra to premiere faith-based film ‘Believe Again’

The premiere will be Friday, Aug. 18

A red carpet premiere event for “Believe Again,” a faith-based movie that was filmed in Hopkinsville and Crofton, is set for Friday, Aug. 18, at the Alhambra Theatre.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. for VIP ticket-holders and at 7 p.m. for general admission.

The film “is a story about Phil Johnson, an elderly African-American man who lives a lonely life after losing his son and wife, and Joe Brook, a successful young architect who is obsessed with material achievement,” the Pennyroyal Arts Council’s website describes. “When Joe’s family turns to Phil for friendship and solace, Phil finds renewed purpose and a second chance to feel alive, loved, and appreciated.”

The film is presented by Honey Creek Studio, based in Hopkinsville.

General admission is $15, and VIP tickets are $50. They are available online
