Poetry readings have been among the best attended events at the downtown shop. This one has a theme, “Just This Moment.”

“Performers are encouraged to share work around topics of unique moments in life,” the shop owners said in a Facebook post. “Adherence to the theme is not required and is only meant to be a helpful tool to guide performers if needed.”

Original works, lasting no more than five minutes, are encouraged. However, published works are also acceptable with full credit for the author.
