The Pennyroyal Arts Council is hosting Picnic with the Pops, a Kentucky Derby party at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Alhambra Theatre where guests will be able to view the race on the big screen and enjoy Kentucky fare.
There will be an after-party concert at 7 p.m. featuring Saved by the Music, a tribute band described as the “ultimate ‘90s experience.”
There are several ticket options still available to purchase online. These include:
- Cocktail Tables in the Auditorium — seats 4 guests for $250
- The Grandstand — per person for $35, includes an auditorium seat to watch the Derby and after-party concert
- After-Party Concert Only — per person for $25
Derby party guests can also purchase a box meal that includes a country ham biscuit, pimento cheese sandwich and fried chicken.
