Graduation ceremonies for Hopkinsville and Christian County high schools are planned Friday at the Stadium of Champions at Eagle Way and LaFayette Road.
Gates will open at 4 p.m. for the CCHS graduation at 5 p.m. Gates will open at 7:30 p.m. for the HHS graduation at 8:30 p.m. Livestream links will be provided on the district’s website and Facebook page closer to the event.
The district office has released information about rules and safety measures for the two ceremonies.
Guests will pass through a weapon detection system at all entrances. In addition, no one may take the following items into the stadium — purses, bags, backpacks, gift bags and balloons. Weapons, alcohol, tobacco and vape products are prohibited at the stadium.
After the ceremony, families and graduates should move outside the stadium for photos and celebrations, officials said in a press release.
