Board appointments received at Hopkinsville City Council meeting

Appointments were made to the Board of Ethics, Human Rights Commission, Housing Authority and the Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

Hopkinsville City Council received at its Tuesday meeting several executive orders from Mayor James R. Knight Jr. for board appointments.

The appointments are:

  • Christy Madyun reappointed to the Board of Ethics as an alternate member.
  • Brittanie Bogard, Joyce Brooks, Nikki Chambers and the Very Rev. Stephen Spicer reappointed to the Human Rights Commission. Their terms expire on June 30, 2027.
  • Gay Wilson reappointed and Sharon Boyd appointed to the Housing Authority of Hopkinsville Board of Commissioners. The terms expire on June 30, 2028.
  • Heather Shoemake reappointed as the hotel representative and Don Pemberton reappointed as the Christian County Chamber of Commerce to the Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Their terms expire on June 30, 2027.
