Auditions set for children’s production of ‘The Secret Garden’

Students in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to audition on Jan. 22.

The Pennyroyal Arts Council is sponsoring a Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “The Secret Garden,” and students in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to audition for acting and assistant director roles from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at Indian Hills Elementary School. Everyone should arrive for auditions by 3:45 p.m.

No advance preparation is needed to audition, arts education coordinator Molly Campbell said in a press release.

When the auditions conclude at 6 p.m., some participants will be asked to stay for the first rehearsal. Rehearsals will continue from 4 to 8:30 p.m. each day that week. The performance will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Alhambra Theatre

The arts council receives support from Flynn Enterprises to produce the show. For more information, contact Campbell by email at molly.campbell@pennyroyalarts.com.
