Hopkinsville Electric System is accepting submissions for its annual photo contest, which culminates annually with the creation of a calendar featuring winning entries. The calendar is mailed at the end of the year to HES residential customers.
Cash prizes of $300, $200 and $100 will be awarded to first, second and third place, respectively.
Photos submitted to the contest must feature scenic or wildlife images taken within Christian County in the last 24 months, HES outlines in the photo contest rules.
Digital images, in a landscape orientation, should be submitted in the highest resolution possible.
Contestants must be at least 13 years old. A complete list of rules and information about how to submit images through email is available online. The deadline for submissions is midnight Oct. 31.
