Hopkinsville’s fireworks display — known as the Red, White and Ooooh! — will be staged on Tuesday, July 4, at Ruff Park on North Drive.
The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with food trucks and children’s activities, including bouncers, balloon art, face painting, a dunking booth and field games, Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation announced in a Facebook post.
The fireworks display will start at dark, around 9:15 p.m. There’s no charge to attend. The first 500 children in attendance will receive a free dessert.
Food trucks will include Holiday Burgers, Kona Ice, G’s BBQ and Vansauwa’s Tacos and Vegan Eats.
Hillcrest Baptist Church and WKDZ-WHVO radio stations are sponsors of the event.
