Take Kids Fishing Day will be from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday, May 27, at Jeffers Bend Environmental Center on Metcalfe Lane.

Along with fishing, several activities are planned, including a water slide, a water obstacle course and fixing a broken water line. Participants should bring a towel, organizers said in a Facebook post. Hot dogs will be served for lunch.
