The Hopkinsville Art Guild will offer a jewelry-making workshop taught by Sarah Brechwald from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Jeffers Bend Environmental Center.
“This workshop will focus on basic jewelry-making, including bead necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings. Participants will work with beads, elastic, wire, and a variety of clasps and hooks,” a guild representative said in an email.
Registration, limited to 12 people, can be completed online. A supply list will be provided with registration. The workshop is free to guild members. It is $35 for non-members.
Brechwald, a Hopkinsville attorney, is a U.S. Army veteran and mother of three young children. She is a painter and enjoys all kinds of arts and crafts.
