Hopkinsville’s community theater group, Campanile Productions, will have auditions this month for a pair of youth summer camps that will culminate with student musicals at the Alhambra Theatre. Everyone must sign up online for an audition time.
The kids camp will perform “Annie.” The teen campers will perform “Shrek Jr.”
Auditions for kids camp, for rising second- through sixth-graders, will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 25, at Joelle’s Bakery and Cafe, 225 Burley Ave. This group will attend camp 8 a.m. to noon June 13 to 17.
Auditions for Teen Camp, for rising sixth-graders through college age, will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Joelle’s. The teens will be in camp from 1 to 6:15 p.m. June 6 to 17.
Sixth-graders may choose which camp to attend.
Each camp will perform their musical at the Alhambra on Friday, June 17. The fee for the kids camp is $100, and the teen camp is $175.
