CASA plans Superhero runs

A 5K and a 1-mile run are slated for Oct. 23. Participants will be encouraged to wear costumes.

CASA of Christian County — the Court Appointed Special Advocates organization — is planning a Superhero 5K run/walk and 1-mile fun run/walk on Saturday, Oct. 23. 

Costumes will be encouraged, and the event will start outside the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library at Ninth and Bethel streets, an organizer said. 

More details and information about registering will be announced soon, the group said in an email.
