LBL campgrounds, other facilities reopening

Both of LBL's welcome stations and the Woodlands Nature Station will be open daily starting April 1.

Land Between the Lakes is reopening campgrounds, welcome centers and educational facilities, officials at the national recreation area said.

The Energy Lake and Hillman Ferry campgrounds opened on March 1. The North and South welcome stations, along with Woodlands Nature Station, The Homeplace-1850 and Moss Creek Day Use Area, will be open daily beginning on April 1. 

“Visitors to Land Between the Lakes are urged to recreate responsibly and follow the precautions recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention along with local and state health and safety guidance,” an LBL spokesman said in a news release.
