Christian County’s coronavirus total is 152, including 115 people who have recovered

As of Friday, the state's total number of coronavirus cases was 12,166. At least 3,390 people in Kentucky have recovered from the virus.

Two new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Friday, raising the county’s total to 152, the Christian County Health Department reported. The total includes 34 active cases, 115 recovered and three deaths.

The number of confirmed, active cases by age group are:

  • Pediatric (0-21): 3
  • Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 27
  • Older Adult (60-84): 4
  • Elderly (85+): 0

By race, people who have tested positive for the virus include 112 white, 39 black and one Asian.

Gov. Andy Beshear reported 331 new cases Friday and 69 on Thursday. He reported four more deaths from COVID-19 on Friday, raising the state’s death toll to 497.
