No new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Wednesday in Christian County. The total remained at 112 cases of which 14 were active and 95 were recovered, according to the Christian County Health Department’s daily report.

The number of confirmed, active cases by age group are:
- Pediatric (0-21): 5
- Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 8
- Older Adult (60-84): 1
- Elderly (85+): 0
Statewide, there were 127 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total 9,077.
Gov. Andy Beshear reported six deaths, raising the state’s death toll from COVID-19 to 400.
The deaths were: a man, 71, and a woman, 97, from Boone County; a man, 78, from Hopkins County; two men, 77 and 79, from Jefferson County; and a man, 88, to Oldham County.
As of Wednesday, 512 people were hospitalized and 82 of them were in an intensive-care unit, the governor said.
Since the start of the coronavirus, the state has confirmed that at least 3,124 people have recovered from a coronavirus infection.
