The Christian County Health Department reported 14 new coronavirus cases on Monday, pushing the total number of local cases confirmed since the pandemic began to 832.
The number of active cases dropped to 220, the lowest it has been in nearly two weeks.
The seven-day rolling average of new cases saw a similar decline, dipping to nine. The metric hasn’t been lower since Aug. 10, when it was eight.
As of Monday afternoon, the number of total, active cases by age group was:
- Youth (0-21): 52
- Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 118
- Older Adult (60-84): 42
- Elderly (85+): 8
