Matthew Z. Newswanger, 42, Hayes Road, Hopkinsville, passed away Monday, Oct. 25, at his home of natural causes. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Meadow Valley Mennonite Church Groffdale Conference with Bishop Irwin Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Valley Church Cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 28, at his home, 7050 Hayes Road. Matthew was a chicken farmer and carpenter.
